The organisers of the Battle of Nantwich are all unpaid volunteers. They give up their time throughout the year to help ensure that the first main event of the Nantwich calendar always goes off with a bang!

Colin Bissett
Colin is a Sealed Knot representative and our specialist in ensuring the historical accuracy of the event.

Michael-John Parkin
MJ has been on the committee since 2008 and is responsible for the logistics and operations of the event, making sure the traffic flows and everyone is safe on battle day!
MJ is also the Chairman of the Nantwich Agricultural Society which brings the Nantwich Show to town every July.

Graham Fenton
Graham has been the treasurer of the Holly Holy Day Society for a great number of years!

Liz Parkin
Liz has been on the committee since 2012 and helps with the marketing and website. She also hosts the RedShift Community Stage in the main square on the morning of the Battle.

When not helping with the Battle, Liz runs RedShift, the local community radio and has her own events and marketing company.

Helen Gregory
Helen has lived in Nantwich since 2001 and loves to get involved in local life. She joined the committee in 2017 as Secretary, keeping the team in order!
When not helping with the Battle, Helen can be found running the RedShift Community Hub and renovating her 1940s house.
